What makes records valuable
Buyers don’t want polish. They want years of real work, written down, in fields where that know-how is rare. Here’s exactly what they weigh. No black box, and everyone who finishes the check can book a call.
Years of records
Several years of history in tools like Zendesk, Salesforce, Google Workspace or your own database. Depth matters more than polish.
Team size
More people means more records. A smaller team with a long history counts too.
Real work, written down
Tickets, case notes, documents, transcripts and process logs that show how your team actually solves problems, step by step.
A specialised industry
Fields like legal, healthcare operations, insurance, logistics and field services carry expertise that general web data does not.
Most in demandStill worth discussing

Work in one of these fields and keep detailed records? You’re likely worth a closer look.
- Legal
- Case files, intake notes, correspondence and matter histories.
- Healthcare operations
- Scheduling, billing and patient-support records, anonymized.
- Insurance
- Claims notes, adjuster reports and policy servicing logs.
- Logistics
- Dispatch logs, exception handling and carrier communications.
- Field services
- Work orders, technician notes and job photos with descriptions.
- Software support
- Ticket threads, bug reports and help-center articles.
It’s already in the tools you use
If your team works in it every day, it may be worth licensing. We look at records from the software most businesses already run, plus your own databases. Nothing gets connected or uploaded to check.
| Source | What it holds | Common tools | Buyer demand |
|---|---|---|---|
| Support desks | Tickets, chats and the resolutions agents wrote. | Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom | High |
| CRM | Account notes, call logs and deal histories. | Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive | Medium |
| Calls & meetings | Recordings and transcripts of real conversations. | Gong, Zoom, Aircall | High |
| Docs & email | Threads, drafts, SOPs and knowledge bases. | Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Notion | High |
| Workflows | Process logs, task histories and approvals. | Jira, Asana, ServiceNow | Medium |
| Databases | Your own systems, exports and warehouses. | Postgres, MySQL, Snowflake | Varies |
Also Salesforce, Slack, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, ServiceNow, NetSuite and custom systems. Don't see yours? Pick "Other" in the eligibility check. Product names belong to their owners and are shown only to describe compatible record types; no endorsement is implied.

Straight answers
The questions owners ask us most, about eligibility, privacy and how we get paid.
What is CashData.ai?
CashData.ai is a free referral service for established US businesses. We help owners find out whether the records they already keep, like support tickets, call transcripts, case files and CRM notes, could be licensed to AI companies as training data. If they could, we introduce you to a data-licensing partner. We don't buy, store or resell anyone's data ourselves.
What kind of data do AI companies license?
Mostly records of real work: support tickets and chats, internal documents, call transcripts, CRM notes and process logs. Years of this history show how problems actually get solved, which is hard to get anywhere else.
Do I have to upload anything to check eligibility?
No. The eligibility check is a short form about your business and the kinds of records you keep. Nothing is uploaded and no logins are needed.
Do I give up ownership of my data?
Licensing arrangements are typically for a copy of approved records, and you decide the scope before anything is shared. The exact terms come from the licensing partner and are yours to accept or decline.
What about customer privacy?
Licensing partners generally require records to be anonymized before they are shared. If your data includes health, financial or other regulated information, flag it in the form so it is reviewed with that in mind.
How much could my data be worth?
It depends on the industry, how much history you have and how it is stored. Buyers price a dataset after they see its scope, so the check tells you whether you are a likely fit, not a price. For a rough, illustrative range, try the value calculator at cashdata.ai/calculator.
Is CashData.ai the same as the CashData app?
No. CashData.ai (cashdata.ai) helps businesses license their operational data to AI companies. It is not a personal finance, bookkeeping or expense-tracking app, and it is not affiliated with CashData at cashdata.app, a separate finance app for freelancers.
How do you make money?
We are a referral service. If you agree, we introduce you to our data-licensing partner, and they may pay us a referral fee if you work together.
